For those of you who need a long term weight loss program, or just need to be reminded of the many important underlying aspects of excess weight and healthy weight loss, I will be doing a Healthy Weight Loss Class on Tuesday, Jan. 25th, at the clinic, from 6:00 - 7:15. This Class is No-Charge for patients and their guests and please bring your family and friends who want to lose weight and regain their health. Patients who bring a guest get a healthy thank you gift. The Class will cover:

It's that time of the year to get back to making our health one of our top priorities. For those of you who have been on my programs in the past, one of the easiest steps is to do a week or two of my Recovery and Rejuvenation Program.
This very healthy step is simple, time saving and usually doesn't cost you anything more than what you would spend on the food this product replaces.
So, If you have been on a Dr. Dale program in the past, and now you feel the need to Recover and Rejuvenate after a period of excess eating, and some 3-10 + pounds of weight gain following the holidays, I highly recommend following the program outlined below. This is a simple, very specific, healthy way to quickly drop those extra pounds, replace some less than ideal habits and recover your well-being and vitality. I have done this with over a thousand patients and the results of feeling better and being healthier are predictable.
This can be done for one to three weeks, and if you are doing everything properly you should lose anywhere from 2 -7 pounds the first week and 1 - 3 pounds each week thereafter! It is straight forward, and time saving for most people. Additionally, you will most likely feel noticeably healthier within the first 3 -5 days!
Most patients actually feel very good while they are on this program and find that it is easy to do, and a great time saver.
Some keys to getting the greatest benefits from your R+R Program:
· Stick as close to the program as possible. Before making any changes to the program, please check with me.
· Ideally you should make an appointment with me before starting the program. This will allow us to clarify how you are feeling, what your weight is, any specific symptom changes or goals you have and how long you plan on doing the program.
· You may want to have a body composition analysis prior to starting, and I will review your supplement program and usually decrease what you are taking during this program.
· You should make another appointment just before you reach the end of your program so I can interpret the results. This can be critical to maintaining the majority of your improvements for the long term. I will let you know how to re-enter foods into your diet and what to watch for.
Upon Arising: First thing in the morning drink at least 6-8 ounces of water.
Throughout the day drink lots of water, approximately 1/2 oz. per pound of body weight.
Breakfast: Drink a serving of Bio-Cleanse, Core Restore or Opti-Cleanse GHI (2 Scoops), plus one scoop of Nano-Greens (not necessary in Opti-Cleanse), mixed in 10 -12 ounces of water. Shake it up and drink. See me to determine which product is best for you.
In between breakfast and lunch: Drink plenty of water, and if needed, snack on either raw fruit or raw vegetables. If eating fruit, choose apples, pears, melons, citrus or berries. Organic fruits and vegetables are preferred. Or your healthiest snack choice is a scoop of Nano-Greens in 8 - 10 ounces of water. This will fill you up and enhance the overall results of your program.
Lunch: The same as breakfast.
In between lunch and dinner: The same as between breakfast and lunch.
Dinner: Oh boy!!! You get to eat as large a meal as you want! This meal should consist of proteins and veggies, lots of veggies. Either a large salad (see recipe), a large bowl of soup (see recipe), or steamed veggies and protein are your best choices.
Additionally you should use olive or walnut oil, on your veggies, or an olive oil based salad dressing. Your vegetables can be eaten either raw or steamed, and you can eat as much as you like.

After Dinner: Drink more water and if you need a snack you can have another serving of fresh fruit. However, this should be at least 2 hours after your dinner.
You do have the option of eating lunch instead of dinner and then having your second shake at dinner-time.
Other Liquids: Lemon in water at anytime is fine. Re: Caffeine, continue to have either green tea, black tea or coffee, but no milk or cream in it. You can have as much herb tea as you wish. Stevia is your best sweetener or a tiny bit of honey.
Although very rare, if you experience any unusual symptoms while on this program, call the office to speak with me, email me, or come in as soon as possible. On some rare occasions we will have to make some changes to your program.

So far, so good, is how this season has gone for the majority of my patients. As usual, the key is getting on my Immune Protocol at the very first sign of infection, and the second most important key is staying on that protocol for at least 2 weeks
past your last day of any symptoms. My protocols are available on our website or as a handout at the office.
Almost all of the difficult, persistent cases I see are a result of someone who did not get on the program soon enough because they thought their symptoms would just go away. Or, even more often, someone "thinks" they are better, stops their protocol and within a few days to 2 weeks they are starting to get sick again. This is usually the same infection coming back to the foreground, which is almost always comes back stronger and more persistent.
Many people who think they get numerous infections throughout one season are often just re-cycling the same infection over and over again. When these infections come back, they are often different in their presentations as the little bugs are busy mutating to survive, and end up creating different symptoms.
If you do get on the protocol and you are not beginning to notice some improvement by the 3rd day, be sure to get in for an appointment asap, as I may have to test you to see which products are going to get the best result.
Last Note: this season actually started out slow and mild, however as some seasons go it appears that it is getting stronger as each new wave shows up, so be smart, be cautious and take very good care of yourself. This last part
can include taking a Preventative dose (3-4) of either Im-Encap or Immune Balancing Complex at breakfast each day.
